The physics of closing

When a system closes itself off — when openness O drops to zero — the Second Law takes over. Not as punishment. As description. A closed moral system decays. That's not a moral judgment; it's a mechanism.

O = 0 ⟹ dC/dt = −S·C < 0

If you're not open to anything outside yourself, you only run down over time. Not because you're weak — because nothing is coming in to counter the decay.

The fall isn't a slammed door. It's the physics of what happens when you turn away from the light: shadow.
