Theophysics Blue Sheet
TP-00 - Theophysics Blue Sheet
Status: opening blue sheet Purpose: define the fair comparison standard for Theophysics Register: method / bridge / public doorway
Here are two competing explanatory frameworks. They use the same observations. They are judged by the same standards. Which one explains more with fewer independent assumptions while remaining internally coherent?
That is the doorway.
Theophysics is not asking for special permission.
It is not asking science to become theology.
It is not asking theology to rescue weak physics.
It is asking for a fair comparison.
The Basic Claim
Every worldview has to explain the same world.
It has to explain: existence distinction lawfulness information measurement consciousness moral obligation beauty evil guilt love sacrifice repair hope
The question is not:
Can each worldview say something about those things?
Every worldview can say something.
The question is:
Which worldview explains the most with the least smuggling?
The Two Frameworks
For now, compare two broad frameworks.
Framework A - Closed Naturalism
Reality is ultimately impersonal.
Matter, energy, fields, laws, or physical information are the final floor.
Mind, morality, meaning, love, truth, and religious experience must eventually be explained from below.
Framework B - Theophysics
Reality is ultimately grounded in God.
Physics, information, consciousness, morality, meaning, and love are not separate territories with God added later. They are created-order witnesses at different resolutions.
Theology leads in the source register.
Physics witnesses in the created register.
The bridge is tested, not assumed.
Same Observations
Both frameworks must face the same data: the universe is intelligible mathematics works physical laws are stable information is real observers exist conscious experience is first-person humans perceive good and evil moral emotions are not randomly distributed evil appears parasitic on good repair costs something love often commands sacrifice against self-interest truth is treated as higher than error by every inquiry, including the denial of truth
Nobody gets to throw away the inconvenient pieces.
Same Standards
The comparison uses the same standards for both sides: Coherence Does the framework contradict itself? Explanatory power How much of reality does it explain without reducing important features into illusions? Assumption cost How many independent primitives does it require? Register honesty Does each claim stay in the register where it belongs? Predictive or retrodictive reach Does the framework make sense of patterns before they are named, or only after the fact? Failure visibility Does the framework show where it can be wrong? Human fit Does it make sense of the world people actually inhabit: grief, conscience, beauty, guilt, longing, forgiveness, and hope?
Theophysics Does Not Get A Free Pass
Theophysics must not say: physics proves God every scientific triad proves the Trinity every analogy is an isomorphism every emotional resonance is evidence every mathematical model is a theorem every theological claim is a physics result
Those are hidden upgrades.
They are not allowed.
Naturalism Does Not Get A Free Pass
Naturalism must not say: truth is assumed, but not counted as a cost lawfulness is assumed, but not counted as a cost consciousness is real when used, but reducible when explained morality is binding in argument, but adaptive fiction in ontology meaning is lived as real, but explained as illusion mathematical intelligibility is just brute fact, while theology is accused of mystery
Those are hidden subsidies.
They are not allowed either.
The Theophysics Proposal
Theophysics proposes that many apparently separate postulates may not be independent: existence distinction relation orientation information witness coherence moral order
They may be projections of a deeper triadic ground.
That is the central research program.
Not yet:
The Trinity has been proved by physics.
But rather:
The created world repeatedly displays the same grammar: reality, relation, and witness; source, mediation, and record; state, transformation, and invariant.
The question is whether that grammar is accidental, emergent, brute, or grounded.
The Burden
If Theophysics is right, it must show three things: The scientific, informational, conscious, and moral domains share real structure, not decorative similarity. The shared structure reduces assumption cost rather than increasing it. The Christian claim of a triune God uniquely grounds the structure without collapsing into monism, dualism, or arbitrary pluralism.
That is the burden.
That is also the promise.
The Fair Test
Theophysics wins nothing by sounding more beautiful.
It wins only if it explains more.
It wins only if it hides less.
It wins only if its bridges survive being named, graded, tested, and corrected.
So the blue-sheet rule is:
Same observations. Same standards. No hidden upgrades. No hidden subsidies.
The Line To Carry Forward
Theophysics is the fair-comparison claim that Christian reality may explain the shared world with fewer hidden assumptions than closed naturalism, while preserving more of what humans and science both have to treat as real.
